Troop 60129 Bronze Award
Eight Billerica Girl Scouts from Troop 60129 were awarded the Bronze Award on June 26, 2010. This is the highest honor a Junior Girl Scout can achieve.
The girls chose to do a group project to help animals. In order to earn this award each girl earned two badges related to animals, a Girl Scout Sign, the Junior Girl Scout Leadership Pin, and completed 15 hours of service towards their final project.
Each girl hand made dog and cat treats, dog and cat toys, and blankets which they then sent to the Billerica Cat Care Coalition , Greyhound Rescue of New England , and Shepherd Rescue of New England .
